Anticipating strong demand for high-quality residences and envisioning Zhuhai's huge potential in residential development, a local developer in Zhuhai and a Macau-based investor sought an overseas partner to extend their development platform in order to craft a trend-setting, large-scale and comprehensive residential project in the city. In this regard, Jones Lang LaSalle was engaged by both parties to look for a suitable partner.

Meanwhile, RREEF, the real estate and infrastructure investment management division of Deutsche Bank, has been actively looking for the right entry opportunity into China for quite some time.

After several months of meetings and negotiations, a partnership has been successfully established among the following parties—RREEF, the Macau-based investor New Genesis International and the local developer Zhuhai Zhongzhu Stock and its sister company, Zhuhai SEZ Xihai Group. Their common goal is to create one of the largest and best-in-class residential projects in Zhuhai.

On 8 November 2006, a signing ceremony was held to celebrate the partnership for the project and our appointment as the project's Property Management Consultant.
